This DOCUMENTARY ~ which is being aired in four parts called "EPISODES" [1/2 hour each] takes a rivoting look at 'FALSE REALITY' as part of what the host & producer of the show states is part of TOTAL REALITY, which includes a 'deeper' "PEEK" at higher sopiritual truths as we 'grope' for better answers to today's perplexing questions.
EPISODE I showed how we ~ as homo-sapiens-sapiens, had our 'REAL ROOTS' 'before' THE BOOK OF GENESIS, which as you know is the 1st book of the BIBLE [?] and the host goes on to state that the 'spirit' in man (NOT THE 'SOUL')~~ came from THE UNIVERSAL SPIRIT~which is 'allegedly' BEYOND THE PHYSICAL REALMS. {This is 'heavy' stuff!!!}
To back-up his researched claim, the host quoted from a 'tractate' (a book) from a larger work called THE NAG HAMMADI LIBRARY ~ which was the name of the same area in upper Egypt where these alleged highly spiritual 'gnostic' wrtings were found in 1945 ~ and have created quite a stir ever since! The host tried to somewhat "PROVE" [?] our 'LINK' to this transmudane father god by quoting a sentence from one of the tractates called, 'The Tripartite Tractate' in which it says..."The Father ...having sown into their thought [presumably the spirit] that they might seek after him...."
HE EVEN GOES SO FAR AS TO MAKE A 'LINK' OF THE MOVIE:'STIGMATA' to, of all things, yet ANOTHER tractate, this one called 'The Gospel of Thomas'~ which, according to this host, was the 'REAL THEME' of the movie-'STIGMATA'!?!
He equates the "WOOD" & THE "STONE" in the movie as reflective of the physicality of the church "that we have to go beyond"...as in go deeper...as in "THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU" which he says is the story of THE ROBE OF GLORY. He held up this book, (which was an ancient parable of the soul) but probably 'spirit' is what is meant, and the book was commented on by a scholar by the name of John Davidson.
It certainly was interesting ~ but 'deep' ~ AND unless you are willing to take the time to read all of these books and references ~~while trying to work two jobs keeping your family together ~ may present a problem to some. {CAN'T WE SIMPLY WATCH THE MOVIE~ 'STIGMATA'???) IN ANY EVENT, I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR EPISODE II: UFOs & the ALIEN ABDUCTION PHENOMENON...and more things to 'worry about'!!!

EPISODE II picks up where it left off: RIPPING THE MASK OFF OF THE CONVENTIONAL WISDOM OF ORTHODOX THINKING [people we normally rely on to give us the information we need to keep our civilization 'STAUS QUO' in a manner of speaking....] I even forgot to mention that the host took "POT SHOTS" at both the theories of CREATIONISM as well as DARWINISM showing how neither makes sense if you look at the 'suggested data'!!! He even ended EPISODE I showing how we [HOMO SAPIENS~SAPIENS MAY have 'evolved' via a biogenetic mechanism ~[and get this] ~ brought about by 'BEINGS FROM ELSEWHERE' ~~~ or as the host alluded to beings who "FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH CAME"!?!~~~~He backs up this (what to some would be an outrageous claim) by presenting the scholarly ideas of both Zecharia Sitchin (Sumerian linguist & scholar who wrote "THE 12TH PLANET") as well as 'bone specialist' Lloyd Pye who stated in effect THAT SITCHIN WAS RIGHT!?! [CF. "EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG"]
Well, I guess it makes sense: EPISODE II is all about how FLYING SAUCERS are 'REAL!'...so if Sitchin & his buddy Pye are right, and 'everything we know is wrong'...then maybe the 'beings' who are 'flying' these UNKNOWNS are [I HATE TO SAY IT] "FOREIGN TO THIS PLANET!?!"...BUT...and there is a big but~~~BUT I am willing to listen 'but' give me "HARD EVIDENCE ONLY!"
THIS HOST DOESN'T EVEN SKIP A BEAT: He starts off by citing a little known case from a book by Richard Dolan called, UFOs & THE NATIONAL SECURITY STATE. (THE INCIDENT WAS CALLED~~THE REDMOND, OREGON INCIDENT....I must admit it 'seemed' unusual ~ even for the Air force ~ to give an inaccurate appraisal of an "alleged" UFO encounter ~ and then, under pressure from the FAA~NICAP [ufo organization in the 1950s & 60s]and even over 100 witnesses to the UFO that a police officer called in, no less, to have CHANGED THEIR STORY~not once~BUT TWICE, finally calling what everybody saw including the 6 F102 jets who chased it:[oh no] VENUS!?!
Admittedly, this is "hard to swallow" ~ BUT ~ so are all the 'CRACK-POTS' out there who are more than "nuts" and many of them 'suspect' for reasons Phil Klass makes abundantly clear: FAME OR FORTUNE OR WORSE~THEY JUST PLAIN LIE!!!
Yet the host, ironically, says that maybe it is KLASS (arch debunker of the UFO problem) is himself being "deluded" or perhaps making "simple mistakes" because of ~ PERHAPS ~ misidentifying tricky scientific data!?! The jury is 'still out'; the host does present as 'possible evidence' that a famous scientist of the 50s & 60s did, in fact, show how Klass as well as another debunker of UFOs(Dr. Donald Menzel~astronomer) were PERHAPS in error by not following basic scientific information while 'debunking' A GIVEN ufo CASE....He cites the book:UFOs & SCIENCE: The Collected Writings of Dr. James McDonald...where Dr. McDonald was, in fact, highly qualified with degrees in chemistry~biology & a Ph.D in PHYSICS....I must admit, it leaves one PUZZLED!
The EPISODE 'cascades' from one bizarre occurrence to another>>from cigar-shaped UFOs seen in 1925 [?] 1948 as well as an unbelievable CIGAR V. ARMY HELICOPTER in 1973 over Mansfield, Ohio....I do not remember reading about this in the news?!? ARE THESE STORIES FOR REAL??? The only conclusion I can come to is that ~ if you even suspect that these things are true ~ you have to MAKE THE TIME to check them out! If you don't ~ and you do depend on THE MEDIA for ALL your information (AND DO NOT GET IT ALL) then somehow you will also be at a lose to explain TOTAL REALITY. Maybe somebody can give a more 'balanced' answer to all of these "alleged" things going on ~ but give us "HARD FACTS" and not ~ as the host alluded to ~ CONFLATION!!!
EPISODE III: [THE PARANORMAL & SYNCHRONICITY] This episode was just aired on March 26th in New Jersey & the host switched gears from UFOs & the alien abduction phenomena to other phenomena like "THE PARANORMAL" & SYNCHRONICITY....
Some of the PARANORMAL examples were truly BIZARRE ~ and it made me wonder about "Just how reliable IS our notion of time & space ~ ANYWAY???"
The host opens with what is 'allegedly' a true account of two Oxford Professors walking in a garden at VERSAILLES in FRANCE about the turn of the century (the 20th century) and suddenly "BEING TRANSPPORTED BACK IN TIME TO THE ERA OF LOUIS THE XVI & MARIE ANTOINETTE...." What makes matters worse ~ there were TWO other sets of witnesses to this remarkable 'REVERSION IN TIME!' and it happened at two other times....once with a lawyer & his wife.
How did the two women know that the woman they saw (who looked aristacratic & was painting) was, in fact, MARIE ANTOINETTE??? Well, being history professors at OXFORD they were able to pinpoint what they saw: It turned out that this occassion (where by the way the other people they saw were both agitated & confused) was both 'THE MASSACRE OF THE SWISS GUARD' & 'THE SACKING OF THE TUILERIES' ~~ OR ~~ THE VERY PLACE OCCUPPIED BY MARIE ANTOINETTE STARTING IN 1789.
The next story was about a man who was given a 'POST-HYPNOTIC SUGGESTION' that he would not be able to see his own daughter when he was taken out of his regressive hypnotic state....The hypnotist actually had the daughter stand IN FRONT OF HER FATHER and then asked the father what he saw: HE SAID, "NOTHING!"
What made the story even more incredible was that the hypnotist quietly went behind the "not seen" daughter and opened his hand revealing a WATCH ~ now only seen by the rest of the audience, who were looking on intensely....He asked the father what he saw ~ and he said A WATCH...Then the hypnotist opened the watch and pressed it against the "not seen" daughter and asked the father of the "unseen daughter" if he could read the inscription....The father not only gave the name of the watch's owner ~ but also the inscription of the INSIDE of the watch which he had admitted he, nor anyone else in the audience, had seen before!?!
MY QUESTION IS VERY SIMPLE: HOW DID THE FATHER 'SEE THROUGH' THE DAUGHTER TO SEE THE INSCRIPTION ON THE WATCH ~ UNLESS HIS MIND ~ PERHAPS ~ WAS OPERATING OUTSIDE OF TIME & SPACE as we know it!?!
If this was not strange enough ~ the host introduces another BIZARRE time incident called "TIME LOOPING" [By this time ~ I WAS READY FOR ANYTHING!!!!] It seems that two alleged 'alien abductees' were quietly watching a TV show at 4pm and at precisely 4:30pm THEY WERE ABDUCTED BY 'beings from ELSEWHERE' ~ BUT ~ when they were returned to "our reality" they were returned ~ not after 4:30 but at 4pm ~ AGAIN ~ to the extent that the one said to the other: DIDN'T WE JUST WATCH THIS TV SHOW????
[I GUESS EVEN 'ADVANCED' BEINGS FROM 'ELSEWHERE' CAN MAKE MISTAKES ~ "OUT OF SYNCH" ~ SORT OF SPEAK.]
The host now goes on to CLEVERLY explain two stories that support one another ~ and I suspect he did it because THE HOST HIMSELF was the subject of the FIRST bizarre story....
The first story deals with a "gift of ROSES" that the host had gotten from a 'spirit lover' which was accurately predicted as to both the possible flower presented & the actual day of the week that the flower was to be presented. {NOW THIS IS A 'STRETCH'!]~ Now I hope you are following this....He actually smells the ROSES on the day predicted ~ A FRIDAY ~ flashes on the screen a picture of this beautiful 'spirit lover' whom he was told by the same psychic her name: ANASTASIA [WHICH I HAPPEN TO KNOW MEANS..."OF THE RESURRECTION!]...and says that both the psychic & another lady who "could see" ANASTASIA in the etheric world (being an artist) drew a picture of her ~ which ~ BIZARRE AS IT MAY SOUND ~ was confirmed by this same psychic as being ACCURATE ~ BECASUE the psychic could also "SEE" ANASTASIA TOO. --- GOT THAT????
[I COULD NOW UNDERSTAND ~ WHY HE HAD TO TELL THE NEXT STORY ~ AND TELL IT QUICKLY....THE HOST'S CREDIBILITY WAS NOW AT STAKE!!!]
>>ENTER EXHIBIT B [?]<< So now the host holds up a book written by a former skeptic, Joel Martin, who is writing a book about GEORGE ANDERSON ~ called, WE DON'T DIE ~ which has an anecdotal story similar to WHAT THE HOST JUST RELATED! (Joel Martin was convinced that Anderson was no fake when Anderson actually told Martin about his own dead father. Martin admits he was trying to fool George, but became the fool instead when he saw that GEAORGE ANDERSON was "the real McCoy!")
The anecdotal story was very simple and the page from the book was actually put on the screen as the host read it: It concerned a chiropractor who had asked Mr. Anderson to contact his now deceased mother; when George started to talk about "ROSES" the whole room filled up with the aroma of roses ~ which is EXACTLY WHAT THE HOST RELATED AS THE WAY "ANASTASIA" gave the host his flower present ~on a FRIDAY)
[AMAZING IF TRUE...BUT WHAT CAN I SAY ~ EVEN AS A SKEPTIC ~ WITHOUT DISCLOSING MY OWN POSSIBLE IGNORANCE AT THE TRUE NATURE OF OUR UNIVERSE ~ AND AS FAR AS I KNOW ~ ONE AMONG MANY!?!]
But the host gives us NO TIME TO DIGEST &/OR REFLECT on the preceding as he fast paces his way to the next INTRIGUING subject: SYNCHRONICITY....FIRST ~ by giving us an EERIE tale about MIRRORS & then supporting the subject by giving us the "technical" definition ~ a la CARL JUNG: as ~ "MEANINGFUL COINCIDENCE; therefore IT IS NOT related to CHANCE OCCURRENCE!
It seemed that around midnight ~ the host was watching TV and then all of a sudden ~ he "heard & saw" something 'flicker' in the mirror behind the TV....As he strained to see what it was, on the TV someone said at that second:DON'T LOOK AT STRANGE THINGS IN MIRRORS....The next day he was entering this 'coincidence' when he remembered that two weeks ago at midnight he actually tried an experiment with a "PSHCHOMANTIUM" type of mirror where allegedly 'strange things may happen' by putting two mirrors from the bathroom in front of THAT SAME TV HE HAD HEARD THE 'ALLEGED' WARNING....He actually wondered 'out loud' whether the coincidence was actually a type of 'SYNCHRONICITY' that he framed as "a warning synch!"
[HEY! ~ THE WAY THIS SHOW IS GOING ~ ANYTHING GOES as Cole Porter once stated in his famous song of the same title!]
The host ended the show with other interesting stories about "HONKING HORNS" that should not honk actually led to "COMMUNICATION" between a deceased mother (like the woman in WE DON'T DIE) and her still-living son via a burned-out diconnected horn [?]...but my favorite story (and the host also) was the synch about "WEEZER" where when a woman had to give away her puppy and she was sobbing on the way home ~ A CAR ZOOMED BY ~ and -you guessed it- THE WORD "WEEZER" was on the licence plate....[[I'VE STOPPED FIGURING AT THIS POINT!?!]
I can hardly wait for the LAST EPISODE where the host PROMISED TO ...give us the "real scoop" on REINCARNATION...as well as the "real reason" Jesus was REAL & NO MYTH ~~~and lastly, the latest facts behind THE SHROUD OF TURIN that gives pretty interesting (almost impeccable) evidence that the shroudh "may heve been" JESUS THE CHRIST,Himself! I ~ for one ~ WILL BE TUNING INTO THIS ONE!!!
AND NOW FOR THE 'FINALE' of "BEHIND THE ILLUSION"....
As promised, the host starts off with a hard-hitting look at the concept of REINCARNATION. He leads into the subject by "flashing back" to what was discussed in the first episode ~ the 'spiritual journey' from THE KINGDOM OF GOD through THE KINGDOM OF MAN and then BACK AGAIN!!! He reminds the viewer that this journey is analogous to following a ROADMAP which the host refers to as ~ "THE ROBE OF GLORY"....
THE ARGUMENT AGAINST REINCARNATION: This allegedly started with the machinations of a murdering emporor by the name of CONSTANTINE [4th century] as outlined by Joe Fisher. (Since there are SO MANY references throiughout the four episodes, I feel it is incombent upon me to list at least the key books that the host referred to in a focused way.)
According to Fisher, and elaborated on by the host, EMPOROR CONSTANTINE decided 'himself' what THE CHURCH would & would not teach ~ with POLITICS allegedly being the "decider" of 'truth'; the EMPOROR JUSTINIAN followed suit two centuries later, and 'THE LAST NAIL' was administered to 'THE COFFIN' of REINCARNATION....As the host aptly put it: THE BABY (REINCARNATION) WAS THROWN OUT WITH THE BATHWATER! (presumably ANY of the 'dirty little political lies' that seemingly "advised" the CHURCH to follow.)
INDEED ~ the host was just 'warming up' to the argument ~ simialr to a lawyer presenting a case in front of a judge... He submits as evidence ~ one ~ Marilynn McDermit, who wrote a book about reincarnation that suggested there were about 200 implied or inferred references to it....
She was a DOCTOR OF DIVINITY (similar to a Ph.D.) and she zeroed in on the St. Paul quote from HEBREWS (9:27) that Billy Graham uses to show that reincarnation 'IS NOT REAL!' She states that this quote: "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after that the judgment." AS an example of "PROOFTEXTING" or simply ~ taking things out of theri proper context.
MxDermit argues ~ as is 'hammered home' by the host ~ that if one reads THE WHOLE of chater 9 of HEBREWS ~ and reading it in "context", that the PHYSICAL body of man does indeed die once ~ and after that we are judged ~ BY OURSELVES ~ when confronted by our own life and what we desired to accomplish in our quest to return to THE FATHER ~ as a PERFECT being."
[I actually checked out this above quote in chapter seven of McDermit's book and found it to be so...SO ...how come we did not learn this in Sunday School??!??]
What makes matters worse ~ depending which side of the fence you are on here ~ is that the host does NOT confine himself to JUST Biblical references....INTRODUCED was a Dr. Joel Whitton, a professor of psychaitry at THE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO MEDICAL SCHOOL, who had listed as least six items that the host even put on the TV screen. It showed that a sample of around 200 of Whitton's patients who had been "regressed" BETWEEN LIVES told, in essence, the SAME STORY: that they were accutely aware of their moral make-up~judged themselves~ and even planned their next life with those whom they HAD WRONGED previously!
The host then recounts the INCREDIBLE story of Jenny Cockell who "proved" beyond a doubt that she was, in fact, the reincarnated 'spirit' of a Mary Sutton, who had died in 1930, but still had five remaining childres who were "presently" older than the reincarnated Ms. Cockell so they could VERIFY that she ~ in fact ~ WAS THEIR MOTHER! INCREDIBLE EXAMPLE and this alone is worth seeing this DOCUMENTARY presented....
The show winds down with the host "proving beyond a resonable doubt" that JESUS THE CHRIST was both a real historical figure noted by the 2nd century historian 'TACITUS' and referenced by Lee Strobel's book: THE CASE FOR CHRIST; he then gives REMARKABLE evidence to the reality of THE SHROUD OF TURIN being ~ in fact ~ the "transmuted" body of Jesus with ample evidence being referred to in THE LEARNING CHANNEL'S "In Pursuit of THE SHROUD" which was aired in 1998. [THIS ALSO WAS AS AWE-INSPIRING one-two punch for those who somehow think that all this "religion-stuff" is JUST A MYTH....THE HOST SPECIFICALLY SHOWS OTHERWISE!!!]
